Looking to up your golf game? Here are the South Bend courses you don't want to miss.

Did you know April 10th is Golfer's Day? Whether you're going golfing to celebrate or just want to find a close new course to practice your swing, here are a few great golf courses in and around South Bend that our real estate agents recommend.

  • Morris Park Country Club - 2200 McKinley Avenue, South Bend
Known as a popular event center for weddings and other special occasions, the Morris Park Country Club also has a great golf course and amazing golf staff. With 123 acres of ideal terrain, the golf course has 18 holes that are designed to accommodate all skill levels. In addition, you'll find a practice area with about an acre of teeing ground and several target greens, a golf shop, and a full schedule of lessons and clinics.

  • South Bend Country Club - 25800 Country Club Drive, South Bend
Sometimes the best things come in small packages, such as the golf course you'll find at the South Bend Country Club. Located close to many South Bend homes for sale, this course measures in at just 6,600 yards, making it more walkable and offering greater challenges for experienced players. With separate tees for different skill levels and ages, the course is well set up not to feel crowded, despite its small size.

  • Burke Golf Course - 46 Dorr Rd, Notre Dame
If you're looking for a small, picturesque golf course, the Burke Golf Course is just your size! While it was originally intended to be 18 holes, today the course is just nine holes and 3,222 yards long. The course is designed to provide a challenge to experienced players while supporting a relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful view. While the course is located on the Notre Dame campus, it's open to the public as well as to students and staff.

  • Warren Golf Course - 110 Warren Golf Course
If you want the picturesque setting of the Burke but in a larger, top-rated course, check out the Warren Golf Course, also located on the Notre Dame campus. Taking up 250 beautifully wooden areas, the Warren has been rated by GolfWeek as the 6th best course in Indiana and the 12th best college course in America. The course offers four sets of tee boxes to accommodate players of all skill levels.

  • Eberhart-Petro Golf Course - 801 N. State Street, Mishawaka
First opened in 1929 with just nine holes, the Eberhart-Petro Golf Course now boasts 18 holes on 6,000 yards and 89 acres. The course is designed to suit the small size by providing a challenge for players of all skill levels. Several leagues play on the course each week, and there is also a variety of programs and lessons to help you hone your game. While this course is not in South Bend, it's located a short drive away in the neighboring town of Mishawaka.
